The most common structures we offer for Introducing Brokers or other Introducers are
Omnibus Accounts
For Brokers which have full back office and in-house futures/forex accounting facilities. The Broker transacts all his trades in one account with optional use of sub-accounts.
Disclosed Client Accounts
An account is opened by individual clients of an Introducing Broker ("IB") directly with MF Global. The client completes a Power of Attorney authorising the IB to trade the account. The IB shares in the commissions charged to the client. IBs can also place orders online for clients.
To operate as an IB it is necessary to satisfy MF Global Direct with respect to ethical and financial integrity. IBs need to be operating within their own regulatory environment.
An Introducing Arrangement
MF Global Direct will, under certain circumstances, pay a fee, or rebate a share of a client's commission in return for introducing a client. Any such fees paid to a third party may be disclosed. Introducers have no control or influence over the running of the accounts.
